August 2021 Update

In July I wrote this article about the structure of the?Cyber Security Association?and it is timely to update this and explain the future of the CSA as I see it.

Firstly ... the UK CSA is one country membership of many ... others will be Africa CSA , India CSA, USA CSA etc etc

Secondly the CSA is working globally with?Business Live Global?and both are expanding globally.?Victoria Beale - Business Growth Accelerator?supported the UKCSA Summit on the 6th July and was a speaker there. Professional?#networkers?need?#cybersecurity?and cyber security companies need professional networkers.

Looking through the article .....

Obviously the CSA is a membership organisation.

We are there to help protect the small business and home entrepreneur in particular.

We also have brilliant?#sponsors?and?#partners

With Victoria?David Sinclair?and the BLG Team we have the ability to provide advanced?#Marketing?#BusinessDevelopment?and?#LeadGeneration?services to members and partners.

We will continue to support the Rise of the Cyber Women and the Varied Origins of the Cyber Men.

We will continue to support Working Groups on?#Military?into Cyber and also eg?#Diversity?and?#Inclusion

We will continue to build a global?#CISO?group

We will liase with the?#legal?experts in the?Cyber Security Global Alliance?like?Flavia Kenyon

We will support Cyber?#Ecosystems?around the country and the world

I continue to be a speaker for?Founders4Schools

The UK Cyber Security Association has developed rapidly both before and after the official launch on May 4th 2021 ( Starwars?Day ).

This is a quick overview of areas we are currently active in:

N.B. We are opening other countries steadily and these are expected to follow a similar model eg India CSA , Spain CSA,?

1.Memberships?

?

From individual to corporate , national to international. This was Lisa's original idea.

?

2.?Sponsors?

?

Companies are sponsoring for example our Events, Name and Praise List?etc etc Introduced since the start of the UKCSA and ideas developed in Cyber Security Valley UK .

3.?Partners?

?

we work with selected Partners eg job board?, Business Live Group,?Moneypenny, Lockdown, TMOA, Intrusion etc Some of these came over from Cyber Security Valley some have emerged since the launch in various ways.

4.?Marketing & Biz Dev & VP & GTM?

We are providing services to members and partners. Lisa is a globally known Value Proposition and Go To Market specialist in the Cyber Sector, Chris is a Business Strategy, Channel Development, Biz Dev, Lead Gen specialist.

5.?UKCSA Books?

?

eg Rise of the Cyber Women and Varied Origins of the Cybermen?that promote cyber people and their cyber careers. Lisa had the idea of the Cyber Women book and I added a mens. Chris is a published author.

6.?Working Groups?

?

eg we are getting Women ( Lisa ) and Military ( Chris ) into Cyber Security roles quickly.?Lisa and I saw this as a key project which we now work with Capslock, Techvets, Wolfberry Academy and Cyberxperts on and others.

7.?Global?CISO Group

?

We give CISO's a safe space to communicate and collaborate. Something that I saw working well in other organisations and we had some CISO's come in as members in the very early days of launch. We listened to what they wanted and we have involved Prof Lisa Short and Nikki Webb in this to add 20 or so CISO's to the group.

8.?Global?Legal Group

?

we give legal experts in the Cyber and Fraud area a safe space to communicate and collaborate. We saw a need for this from other groups and as a global requirement

9.?Global Cyber Ecosystems

?

We communicate and collaborate with Cyber Security ecosystems all over the world. This started with Cyber Security Valley which I started and then Northern and Southern Cyber Corridors and then eg Damon Rands Dubai and Japan clusters, Northern Ireland and others joining all the time from all around the world.

10. PDSC/UKCSA Partnership

We have had a strong relationship with the PDSC for many months and I worked with BRIM and the Cyber Resilience Centres on the CRC roll out and London CRC now under construction. Lisa and I are on the Advisory Board of the West Midlands CRC.

11. Founders 4 Schools – STEM speaking

I have been a F4s STEM/Cyber speaker for many years and recently involved Lisa

12. The Cyber Helpline

We wanted a good Cyber Helpline for our SME's and this one has many of our friends and business contacts involved.

It is all about community and how we can help.
