UKATA to support IOSH Conference 2019
In a continued effort to work collaboratively within the industry, in order to forge effective partnerships, UK Asbestos Training Association will exhibit for the second year running at IOSH Conference this September.
Take the Next Step, is the global conference for safety and health professionals, brought to you by the Chartered body for occupational safety and health. The event is taking place on 16–17 September 2019 at the ICC in Birmingham, and will give delegates and the organisations they work for inspirational presentations, fresh thinking, business intelligence, new updates and opportunities to make important new connections with other safety and health specialists. With fantastic speakers, debates on the issues that matter and opportunities to learn and be inspired, IOSH 2019 is the conference you must attend this year.
Among the speakers will be Dr Mavis Nye and Dr Ray Nye who will share their story on how mesothelioma has affected their lives.
“Exhibiting at the IOSH Conference is a great opportunity for UKATA and provides a strong platform for the association to continue raising awareness of asbestos and further promote training. In the last twelve months we have delivered three successful asbestos webinars in conjunction with IOSH. I look forward to joining IOSH at what I know will be a very successful conference” says Craig Evans, Chief Operating Officer of UKATA.
