Delivering benefits for you?
Co-ordination across DSOs delivers benefits nationwide??
One year in and DSOs across the country are all making significant progress, demonstrating that benefits can be delivered nationwide.??
We enjoyed speaking to Tom Grimwood at Utility Week who has written a three-part series taking a deep dive into the progress DSOs are making.?
The articles look at how DSOs are using flexibility to cut costs and opening up data to bring transparency to the marketplace and help customers make more informed decisions about when and where to connect their assets.?

Making our data work for our customers?
Opening up data to accelerate generation connections?
Giving generation customers more data is fundamental to helping them build a more detailed profile of the best connections option for them. Director of DSO Sotiris Georgiopoulos highlighted how we’re setting out to deliver a step-change in data available with new datasets enabling a much more detailed understanding of curtailment and connections capacity. Open and transparent long-term plans?
?Network insights published?
We’ve recently published our latest Long Term Development Statement (LTDS) and Network Development Plan. These datasets contain detailed information about our grid and primary network now and in the future. The LTDS describes our current network in detail and the confirmed upgrades planned in the next five years. The Network Development Plan looks further ahead, taking a long-term view of investment plans over the next 10 years and modelling a range of scenarios up to 2050.?
Together the two publications help you see our longer term thinking about how the network could develop in the future and where we’ll be targeting capacity developments.?
