UK Construction: Artificial Intelligence (AI) adopt before it’s too late.
"Neither RedBox nor Netflix are even on the radar screen in terms of competition." – Blockbuster CEO
“The iPhone doesn't appeal to business customers because it doesn't have a keyboard.” – Microsoft CEO
"There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home." – Founder of Digital Equipment Corp
Sadly, there are tons of quotes just like this.
History has taught us that there are often times when technology disrupts the market.
We saw it with computers, the dawn of the internet and now Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Those that are feeling the disruption the most will often become the loudest critics.
Clearly, it’s easier to push back against a revolution then to embrace it.
Truth is, AI is already here and the early adopters will make the most of the opportunity, just like those companies that embraced the internet when it first started.
One of the biggest criticisms of AI is that it’s just a chatbot that surfaces information already publicly available on search engines.
It’s so much more than that.
AI is able to analyze large amounts of data quickly and accurately, making it valuable for decision-making and problem-solving.
Best yet, it will learn from experience and improve in performance over time.
When an organisation loses its desire to pioneer and rests on its laurels, it stops progressing.
In one hour’s time, early access ConstructAI will be closed and those that have signed up will be able to experience the power of AI.
I wonder if those quoted above would have wished they were early adopters as opposed to critics.

1 年Great post! ?? It's refreshing to see a reminder of how history has repeatedly shown us that embracing technological advancements is the key to progress and success. The comparisons to past innovations like computers and the internet really drive home the point that AI is indeed a game-changer. Your perspective on AI as more than just a chatbot is spot on; its potential to analyze data and continuously improve is incredibly exciting. Keep up the great work in advocating for AI adoption and innovation! ???? #AI #Innovation #futuretech
