Oxford school launches unique pre-university course from January

Wychwood, a leading co-educational day and boarding school in Oxford will be running a unique two-term pre university course from January 2024 for those who have completed a high school education in their home country.

The bespoke programme will prepare students for academic studies, public speaking, UCAS applications, and offers a varied wide-ranging programme from maths lessons to music, fine art to finances and cooking to an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification).

Head, Jane Evans explains: “At Wychwood, Oxford. we try to provide the best course of study for each individual.”

“This new programme is uniquely designed by an expert team of teachers.? They discuss with every student their previous studies and their target universities, including Oxford, and ensure that they are fully equipped during two terms for a successful start.”


“Positive impact in others” is an aspiration for Bromsgrove students

In a recent interview, the Head of Bromsgrove School , Michael Punt , has shared some aspirations for his students.

“When a student leaves Bromsgrove, I hope they leave with top exam results… and also a whole host of interests and experiences,” he says.

In addition to what they learn at Bromsgrove, “I also hope that they leave with a whole host of happy memories because they have had a really positive time at school.”

Michael concludes that in terms of what they do next “I hope they are well prepared to flourish and make a really positive impact in the lives of others in the world beyond school.”

Boarding schools on the 'menu' at Dubai dinner

We had an excellent time meeting such wonderful people at the?PCD CLUB?dinner on 2/11 in?Dubai this week for 200 advisors to?HNW?families.

We were delighted to be Silver Sponsors of the event to represent the?UK's boarding school sector, and also bring?Natalia Volchugova?and?Zack Abdulhamid?who spoke about?Copperfield International School, the exclusive school in?switzerland, part of?Dukes Education.

We also presented at the pre-reception panel for 70 attendees about the benefits and opportunities of?boarding.
