UK Bid & Proposal Contractor Survey

There are more than 1,000 bid and proposal contractors, consultants and freelancers providing their services to the private sector in the UK. With significant changes proposed to how IR35 is assessed in this sector from April 2020, we are conducting important research. If you are currently operating as a contractor, consultant or freelancer in the UK, we would really value your input.

A detailed report will be made widely available in September with the key findings published in Bidding Quarterly. According to ContractorUK, one in five current UK contractors believe they will be forced to leave contracting for a permanent role post-April 2020, due to the serious impact the new legislation will have on their livelihoods. 65% of contractors believe their income will decrease following the introduction of the new IR35 rules.
