What are UX and UI
We've all heard of UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface), but the two terms feel like they are used almost interchangeably. Despite this, there is a definite difference between the two! They represent two different sides of a users interaction with a website.
User Interface (UI)
UI primarily focuses on the visual elements and design components that users interact with. That means the layout, typography, color schemes, buttons, and other visual elements. UI design aims to create an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive interface that allows users easy navigation.
User Experience (UX)
UX encompasses the overall experience and satisfaction users derive from interacting with a website or application. It delves deeper into understanding users' needs, expectations, and behaviors to create a seamless and intuitive experience. UX design incorporates elements such as information architecture, usability, interaction design, and content strategy to ensure that users have a positive experience.
