We recently had the privilege of guiding an entertainment brand with more than 300 global locations through a transformative journey of self-discovery.?

They came to us lacking a clear articulation of their core purpose, and together, we unearthed a mission statement and set of core values that resonated deeply with who they are and where they’re going.?

?It started with a workshop in Chicago and ended in tears.

Ahem, of joy.

This powerful exercise reminded us of a fundamental truth for challenger brands: before you can gain wallet share and scale, you must first ensure that your entire team is marching to the same drumbeat. It starts within—by aligning hearts and minds around a shared purpose.

I encourage you to reflect:?

Are your mission and values more than just words in a slide deck???

Are they living, breathing principles that guide every action, every decision, every day?

How much faster might your organization move, and how much more could you accomplish, if your mission and values were truly lived by every team member?
