UGVCL - Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited achieved a significant milestone with the commissioning of a 2.475 MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Plant in Sudasana, Gujarat. This development is a crucial step in the implementation of the PM KUSUM Component-C Feeder Level Solarization Scheme, which aims to provide reliable daytime electricity to the agricultural sector.

The implementation of 300,000 smart meters in Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL) is a significant step towards enhancing the efficiency of electricity distribution in the state. This initiative aligns with national and regulatory policies aimed at improving energy management and reducing losses. KSEBL has prepared a detailed plan, ensuring the phased implementation of smart meters under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
