Ugandan Women Are Soldiers, Every Day

Apparently in Uganda, talent in women especially in all sports fraternity seems to be increasingly improved with efforts. The fruits of girl empowerment work yields opportunity, not only in sports but also in other sectors internal, globally & locally. The MDA, private & Corporate institutional developments studies of research survey show case that all government stake holders have critical thought more for G.o.U to provide more in the individual women development so that the Cycle of absolute poverty is reduced. #Feminist Studies # 1: Women of Struggle, Women in Struggle. March 5th 2020,

A recent?rapid survey of businesses?by the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) in Uganda revealed that three-quarters of the surveyed businesses have laid off employees especially women due to the risks presented by COVID-19, subsequent containment measures, lesser maintenance salaries. Indeed, the results suggested that lockdown measures have reduced women business activity by more than half. In terms of sectors, it found out that businesses in agriculture have experienced the largest constraints in access to both inputs and markets for outputs due to control measures such as transport restrictions, quarantine, social distancing, and bans were prompted more on weekly markets.

In short, it's realized that?micro and small businesses heavily controlled by Women experienced a larger declined in businesses activity compared to medium and large firms—an unsurprising finding since most of the country’s micro and small businesses halted operations due to their inability to implement preventative health measures such as provision of on-site lodging for employees, and sanitizers and handwashing equipment for customers. These preventive measures had resulted in an increase in operating expenses for businesses that continued to stay open. Consequently, a majority of micro and small businesses own by women, particularly in the service sector, predicted they will have to close within one to three months if the pandemic persists and if the restrictions are maintained. Whatever, the Case Women Soldiers kept giving Services to Human life deliberately.

It should be realized that women contribution crosscuts in every sector growth of any country, them being behind the bridge of backbone to every sector development; they carry on & enable mostly every workload that men have failed to execute look at the single mother parenthood struggles, the exquisite daily home devotion of proof, thoughts of SMART technicalities in health, education, Science, & also the existence local SMEs’ provisional people hand to mouth Support, and many others.

It’s high time, we believed in the women industry innovative, talent & creative work Sector growth and for Uganda as I am concerned, I proposal G.o.U to appropriate, "Advanced Women fund (AWF) on our Ugandan Budget; Every financial year to pay every Single or married woman above 30 years with at least two Children in evident operations as a nation growth contributive token payback of 499,900 UGX annually per Woman to exercise equity & Transparency as a Mandated Policy advocated, Safe guarded and extremely implemented equally well at all levels with proper Audits & accountability."

The NGO, Advocates, and international developments in Support of Women growth; WITU, UN Women, CGIAR, Action for Development (ACFODE), Association of Women Lawyers in Uganda (FIDA–U), Uganda Media Women's Association (UMWA), Centre for Domestic Violence Prevention (CEDOVIP), Forum for Women in Democracy (FOWODE), Women’s International Peace Centre (WIPC), National Bahai Committee for Advancement of Women have ideally given Women empowerment initiative and progress is witnessed.

The Gov’t of Uganda therefore should actual be tasked to look across the Parish Development Model fund motives, outcome as well as benefits and consider reverting some of its funds appropriated to be remitted the Advanced Women Fund (AWF). Generally, this policy if put into implementation will save the tax payers’ money.

I am pretty Sure that if the Women Empowerment Sector growth is properly guided, well streamlined and implemented within the AWF; Indicators show that G.o.U of Uganda will increasingly collect more Tax revenue, Obtain more individual responsible tangible Corporate investments to enhance the reducing rate of youth unemployment, and the Ugandan NDP 3 vision & goals will increasingly be obtained.

This is gender insensitive. In this day and age, where we truely strive for equality, tour suggestion excludes the male gender and I find tjis archaic and worth rethinking. Time and again, we in uganda have proved that both women and men given the same opportunity can produce excellent results. This has broken the gender biases which you want to insinuate here. In a differing opinion, I aver that the government of uganda has done a great job in insuring that PDM is not gender based but rather for all members jn the community. If you have appreciated it very well, it is those who have or who can organise themselves in a group at a parish level, meet the prerequisites, that will get the money irrespective of age, gender or level of education . I commend this leveled ground approach.

There are just lots of untapped potential in not striking an all round gender inclusiveness. If the potential offered by both men and women are tapped, then it's possible to grow in all aspects/ spheres of development. Women are just that untapped potential left idol in the development cycle!!!!!

So men are not Ugandans?

Great insight!!!. I hold the same ideology with you. Women, just like men, are very resourceful in our economic development as a country.
