Creating EMPLOYMENT

Unemployment is a challenge for India, as one of the world's most populous nations. It has far-reaching implications for economic growth and development. The latest data gives some hope, as the unemployment rate declines marginally. According to National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO), the unemployment rate for individuals aged 15 years and above in urban areas decreased to 6.8 percent during January-March 2023 from 8.2 percent a year ago.

Figures according to Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), indicate decline in Unemployment ?Rate to 8% in July from 8.50% in June 2023.?Chart shows the trend.

In a population of 140 Crore, the youth workforce represents 65 percent and if 8 % are without job, its 7.28 Crore approximately. Are these figures not alarming? ?Well, government has Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 for rural Labour, but what about the Urban Educated class?

Statista, yet another international agency that closely monitors employment and Employability, gives data by different disciplines, degree, diploma or trade at their site -

Discussion alone won’t Help

India adds approximately 5 Crore new job seekers every year and hardly a third of this population gets a place in Organised Sector. The remaining have to find their way in unorganised sector. Government intervention through policy and programs like Startup, Mudra Loan, support to manufacturing through Production Linked Incentive (PLI) etc does contribute, but one has to learn to avail these opportunities or there could be handholding by MSME or groups of retired senior citizens through NGOs.

Now don’t say Good Day, say Good AirDay, courtesy Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). They have done a yeoman’s job by managing exceptionally high Rainfall in 2023.

New Delhi – HT 11/09/2023: Delhi’s air quality improved to its best levels in 11 months on Sunday, as a strong spell of overnight rain and sparse vehicular traffic due to G20-related restrictions together gave the national capital unusually low pollution levels.

The 24-hour average AQI dipped to 45 at 4pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023, the city’s first “good” air day this year. Pollution levels on Sunday were the lowest since October 10 last year, when Delhi clocked an AQI of just 44.

Delhi got 38.6mm rain in the 24 hours till 8.30am on Sunday, with another 1.3mm till 5.30pm.Sunday’s air quality improved from 54 a day ago, the year’s 2nd lowest of the year 2023 so far. It was 83 on Friday and 104 on Thursday.

The vastly improved air coincided with the G20 Summit, when vehicular movement was disallowed and public spaces were shut in the central Delhi.

Officials said clean-up drives and sprinklers used consistently in the run-up to the global event helped wash Delhi’s characteristically polluted air. Last year, at the same time, Delhi’s AQI was 141 on Sept’ 9 and 110 the day after.

Strong winds that accompanied the rain also helped wipe the air of pollutants. Anumita Roychowdhury of Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) said the improvement in air quality was due to a combination of various factors including meteorological conditions and reduced emissions on account of G20 curbs.

“The offices and institutes being shut, and much lower traffic volumes. Efforts such as clean-up drives were also taken to keep pollution in check. Moreover, we saw intense rain on Saturday. All these factors together played a role in the current spell of good air,” said Roychowdhury.

According to CPCB data, 2022 saw three good air days all year. In 2021, Delhi clocked just a single such day. In 2020, however, when the city was under Covid-19 curbs for much of the year, Delhi clocked 5 “good” air days.

Among other cities in the NCR, the AQI was 34 in Ghaziabad, 70 in Gurugram, 51 in Greater Noida, 62 in Faridabad, and 32 in Noida.

Let’s see how long this trend sustains, when the weather is not favourable.

I Established Multi Agro Products on 02.01.2021.Since2021 to 2024, I made Buildings purchase some types of equipment only. Low-cost animal feed. Cows shed. Green-garbage, fully-digest and echo-friendly gas plant. Odour-free, water-less, infection-free and echo-friendly toilets, urinals and stow house. All are attached in one place. The cow shed, toilets, and urinals are all attached to the gas plant and by biofloc water we clean the cow shed and all garbage goes to the gas plant. In this way, we can save water, get more gas, and decrease the methane gas going to the environment. I am saving the environment waste materials from agriculture, odour, water, and infections, increasing the power of natural manure. In this way, we can save echo systems. I welcome all of you to visit.
