Hi,
The synergy of collective action is a powerful force for progress. This quarterly newsletter proudly highlights the remarkable achievements made possible through the united efforts of our partners.?Their collaboration has?been instrumental in empowering countless individuals.
But wait, there's more!? We also offer a sneak peek into our recent offsite, where the Udhyam team took a moment to unwind and celebrate. We're a passionate bunch, dedicated to making a difference – and sometimes, a little fun is just what the doctor ordered to fuel our mission.
Without further ado, let's dive in..
Udhyam welcomed Michael & Susan Dell Foundation as a key supporter
We are thrilled to announce a landmark partnership with the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF). As our first institutional funding partnership, this collaboration marks a significant milestone for Udhyam. We are deeply honored by MSDF's trust and excited about the tremendous opportunities this presents to amplify our impact on youth across India.
Partnering with Levi Strauss India, we launched the Istri Project in Jaipur
This May, the Pink City witnessed a buzzing launch event, a well-attended press conference, and the exciting flag-off of the Presswala Express. Post-launch, our dedicated saathis fanned out across the city with the Presswala Express, spreading the word about the benefits of switching to LPG iron boxes and empowering presswalas to make the switch. We've already connected with a few hundred presswalas in Jaipur and distributed 100+ LPG boxes so far.
Lucknow's Food street vendors get a digital upgrade
After a successful pilot project in Bangalore, our initiative to digitally enable food street vendors is moving to Lucknow. Our Bangalore pilot among two dozen vyapaaris saw rewards in the form of 5000 additional orders and additional revenue over 10 lakhs through online delivery platforms over 6 months. In June, we expanded this project to Lucknow and have already onboarded vyapaaris onto our program, with the aim to onboard & establish their presence on online platforms like Zomato and ONDC.
LEAPing forward! Celebrating the next generation of young entrepreneurs
