We celebrated our 7th anniversary on 30th March. This year, Mekin & Krishnan take a moment to celebrate the cornerstone of Udhyam's culture?- our?people.

Prayaas 2024: The Event That’s All About India’s Youth

Prayaas 2024 took place in Bangalore in February, co-hosted?by Lend A Hand India & Udhyam Learning Foundation?& supported by Amazon India.? By bringing together organizations &?individuals who care about India’s youth, we were able to learn from each other, work collaboratively, &?multiply our impact. Multiple approaches emerge as we continue to do this.

This edition of Prayaas hosted?leaders like Rukmini Banerji (Pratham Foundation), Manish Sabharwal (TeamLease), Anita Kumar, & Gaurav Bhatnagar (Amazon), Lakshmi Raman (Omidyar Network), Dr. Leena Wadia, Sreelatha Kotemut, Lokesh Mehta (MSI), Pradeep Sharma (Sattva), Sourabh Narsaria (FloorWalk), Tara C. (OakNorth). We also had the privilege and delight of hearing directly from a number of bright young Indians. Organizations such as Avanti Fellows, EvenCargo, RightWalk Foundation, HCL TechBee, FloorWalk, & Jagriti Yatra presented their unique, inspiring solutions. Research on Student-Led Design Presented at Europe Conference

We recently presented our work on "Participatory Pedagogies for Student-Led Design at Scale” at the 18th International Design Principles & Practices Conference in Europe, which is known for recognizing interdisciplinary research on global innovations that have transformative implications on society. In addition, our very own Syeda Asia was awarded as an emerging scholar for excellent research and promise of significant future achievement in 2024. We're delighted!? See more here.

Udhyam Vyapaar Partners with SIDBI

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) & Udhyam Vyapaar on The Istri Project! We kickstarted the partnership by distributing LPG Iron Boxes to Istri Vyapaaris in Bangalore last month in the presence of Shri. S Ramann, CMD SIDBI, Shri. Satyaki Rastogi, CGM SIDBI & Regional Head Bengaluru, & Mr Ulagiyan Balasubramanian, DGM SIDBI.
