Udaipur is Home but Her Outlook is Global: Ruchika Godha of Advaiya

Ruchika Godha’s speech has a lapidary quality to it- she is precise, crisp, and uses words economically.?She never adopts the boasting mantle so common among corporate leaders and always listens with care and humility.?As an interlocutor, she is charming and poised, even when she disagrees with you.?

As a Co-Founder and Head of Talent and Growth at Advaiya, she wears many hats.?Advaiya’s people are priority one.?Advaiya’s people-led growth is priority two.?But as a founder and owner, the bigger picture is always foregrounded- what new markets should the company enter?-- how should talent be aligned with opportunity?-- what is the long-term sustainability goal of the organization? – and so on.?These questions are the ones that keep her agile mind occupied.

Advaiya is a 10-year old company in its current form though it breaks the tape at 2 decades overall.?A technology-services and enablement company, Advaiya has over 200 customers world-wide and can claim several Fortune 100 blue-chips as loyal partners and customers.?Though formally based in Udaipur, the company has offices in Delhi, Dubai, Seattle, and San Francisco.?

Godha’s outlook has always been global. Her older child studies in the US and she is in touch with the global teams daily.?

As I speak to both Godha, her fellow founders, and their executives and employees one thing is resonant- a commitment to remember their roots even as they expand and take on new challenges.??
