UC Foundation Selects a New President
We are delighted to announce that the University Club Foundation has appointed Sam Briggs as the new UC Foundation President. Sam brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission, making him an excellent choice to lead our Foundation.
Sam recently retired as Vice President at PacTrust. His focus on long-term relationships and meeting the evolving needs of businesses aligns perfectly with the goals of our Foundation.
Sam holds degrees in business administration and English from Lewis and Clark College, and a degree in architecture from the Oregon School of Design. Beginning his career on PacTrust’s in-house design team in 1984, he quickly transitioned to marketing, showcasing his strengths in leasing commercial real estate. He is a past president of both the Portland chapter of NAIOP and the University Club of Portland, and he served on the board of the Westside Economic Alliance.
Please join us in welcoming Sam Briggs to his new role. We are confident that his vision and enthusiasm will drive the UC Foundation to new heights, ensuring that we continue to make a positive impact on preserving the historic nature of our building.
