Another one bites the dust: Uber president Jeff Jones is leaving after less than a year. The former Target CMO’s departure is “directly related” to the multiple recent management and PR crises at the company. “It is now clear ... that the beliefs and approach to leadership that have guided my career are inconsistent with what I saw and experienced at Uber, and I can no longer continue as president of the ride sharing business,” Jones said in a statement.

Facebook is hiring a retail manager to sell at least four unannounced consumer hardware products. The secretive "Building 8" unit is working on projects ranging from brain-scanning tech to AR. It could all be revealed as soon as April during Facebook’s F8 conference.

“Beauty and the Beast” broke a bunch of records: The biggest box office opening in March brought in roughly $350 million worldwide this weekend. It’s the seventh biggest opening weekend of all time, and the second biggest non-summer opener (behind “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”). It’s also the biggest weekend open ever for a film not rated PG-13.

I'm not sure I'd appreciate hearing a voice add from Google Home about Beauty and the Beast movie! Does Alexa stoop to that level? Uber is just an uber-sad place to work at. If Facebook doesn't give me a workable neural interface by 2022, I'll be concerned.
