UAE approves Dh71.5-billion federal budget for 2025, largest in history
The UAE Cabinet, led by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has approved a Dh71.5 billion federal budget for 2025, marking the largest to date. Key allocations include Dh27.859 billion for social development and pensions (39%), Dh25.570 billion for government affairs (35.7%), Dh2.581 billion for infrastructure and economy (3.6%), and Dh2.864 billion for financial investments (4%). This reflects the UAE's commitment to growth, resource sustainability, and balanced public spending across sectors.
