What's the Difference between Road force balancing and Traditional balancing?
Tyre balancing is an important part of vehicle maintenance that promotes a comfortable and safe driving experience. Various balance systems have been utilized over the years, with traditional balancing being the most popular. However, technological developments have developed a more sophisticated system known as road force balancing. What is Traditional Balancing?
For decades, traditional balance, also known as static and dynamic balancing, has been the go-to strategy. Road Force balancing elevates tire balance by taking into account an extra factor -road force fluctuation. This technology not only detects static and dynamic imbalances but also measures the force exerted by the tire against the road as it is rolling.
This procedure is carried out using a specialized machine known as a road force balancer. The road force balancer simulates genuine road conditions by rolling a roller against the tyre as it rotates. The machine then evaluates the variance in road force produced by flaws in the tire's composition, tread, or sidewall, as well as wheel imperfections.

9 个月I'm going to politely disagree. Road force balancing up until atleast this point is just another gimmick to catch customers. It leads in the most tires being called out of round. There's zero being done except exerting a constant mostly unuseful pressure that doesn't correct weight placement or actually change the amount a tire needs to be balanced. A direct drive non belt driven balancer with the ability to fine balance and super tune weight placement is still the better choice in ride quality. The worst part of the entire idea is the fact that no matter what type of wheel/tire combo along with different vehicle type and weight are never changed from a 3000lb compact to an 8000lb truck.
