TYPO3 Conference 2023

After catching up on multiple nights of sleep – Wow. Let's recap #T3CON23, shall we?

First and foremost: Thank you! Thank you to everyone who showed up, sponsored, held a talk or a lightning talk or celebrated the TYPO3 Awards with us. Without all of you, this wouldn't have been possible ??

Thank you all for making this possible and helping T3CON happen again after a four-year break. With my first TYPO3 Conference being the last one before the pandemic break (Den Haag in 2019), I never in a million years would have thought I would get the opportunity to be such a part of #TYPO3 – let alone speak on main stage. This still feels unreal.

Preparations for T3CON started long before I even joined TYPO3 GmbH. But being involved in everything – from speakers, sponsors and booth planning to napkins, food and moderators – truly made me appreciate everything even more, when it came to life on October 12th and 13th. Seeing all the sketches form into an actual venue, all the mockups form into beautiful booths and all the names form into actual people.. I'm honestly still not over this ??

First of all: Thank you to everyone being involved in the planning of T3CON – ? Daniel Fau, Luana Valentini, Carsten Siewert, Joeline Bersch, Markus Schwarz and Florian Froidevaux, Volker Graubaum and of course also Open Strategy Partners GmbH. Without each and everyone of you, this wouldn't have worked out the way it did. Thank you for the countless hours pumped into this event, for every last-minute call and for all of your efforts. Every time I was close to losing my mind, you saved me. Safe to say: We rocked it ??

But let's also celebrate all other submissions who didn't make the cut in the end – competition was hard this year with the awards covering three years and three TYPO3 versions and it came down to the smallest details. Please don't be disheartened if it didn't work out this time!

Last, but certainly not least – a big thank you to Matt Beadle for guiding us through the Awards night. You absolutely rocked this and made the night as memorable as it was. It truly wouldn't have been the same without you. Thank you!

I still haven't quite come to terms with the fact that T3CON23 is now over. That might take a while – or a couple of drinks. But I sincerely hope you are all as ready for T3CON24 as I am. See you there?
