Greetings!
What's New in Digital?
1.?We've said it before, and we'll say it again:?Platform Diversification. The number one benefit of having cross platform diversification is you don't have all your eggs in one basket. We've had a lot of trouble with Facebook recently, and what that usually means is a big?update is coming, but in the meantime there is a?shakeup in current uses,?odd data showing, and accounts/pages being disabled. Don't be beholden to one specific platform. If you're not invested in platform diversification and your Facebook goes down, you've lost your lead source.
2. Organic Content. You've got to get into the mindset of constantly posting. Content producers hitting different benchmarks with views and followers say everything really took off for them when they started posting one to two times a day. The platform is wanting to identify accounts that are going to give the most value, which is a shift from paid ads, so now it's more like an SEO organic mentality of 'it has to be of value.' Just know if you are only going to put up one or two videos a week, you aren't going to see that growth. One strategy for?accomplishing?this is to do a couple of long form recordings and utilize tools to parse the content out automatically for you throughout the week.?
3.?Third Party Management Tools. Not just from the data side, so attribution tools like Wicked Reports that are?going to make you feel a bit more cozy about the data you are receiving. There?are a lot of tools that have helped to automate pay. If you are working on Google Ads, there are a ton of tools that have really upped their game in terms of providing recommendations and making it easy to implement those recommendations. It shouldn't be the only way?you are managing your account, but it can be a safety net,?and help you to utilize your time more strategically.?
A great media buyer means being a digital marketing technologist, and remember:?You're not right, the data is.?
