Utilities are always a personal responsibility; however, they are very inexpensive! Electric and water bills will vary depending on individual usage, but the average price is between 1,000-2,000 baht per month.

Most accommodation is within 5-15 minutes, walking distance from the school. However, some schools are not within walking distance and require you to use public transportation or ride a bicycle.

Robert Young The cost of accommodation in Thailand is amazing compared to what I'm hearing from people back home in the UK, and from people coming from the USA. Some KET teachers pay less than 10% of their salary on rent, unheard of elsewhere, and its the same for utilities, very affordable another great reason, amongst many to be living and working in Thailand. ??
