Types of People on Anonymous texting Platforms
The scene of social media and communication has been a rather stagnant affair for decades on end. Texting and communicating with your acquaintances and loved ones was, in itself, such a progressive and ground-breaking innovation in technology, that for years, users have overlooked some of the glaring lacunas that come with online interaction. Despite social media seemingly providing a platform for open expression of opinions and sharing of ideas, it is a given and known fact that the same isn’t always the case. Although there’s a myriad of miscellaneous issues staring us in the face, the most severe in terms of magnitude and seriousness, are related with the publicising of your identity. With these drawbacks in mind, there have been few innovations undertaken by developers who had a vision of providing more comfort and security to the average, relatively unaware consumer. One such innovation was the introduction of anonymous texting. But even with our exposure to this new method of communication which allows for the retaining of your identity to yourself, one thing that pops in our head is “What kind of people are we meeting with, online?”
Is it even Important to Know?
It is, of course, a valid question, considering the fact that one of the major driving forces behind the introduction of this revolutionary step is the safety and security of the user and their personal details. It is, therefore, to be noted that both unaware and oblivious consumers as well as those aiming at identity theft, will have their identities concealed from others online. The idea of opening up your world beyond the current acquaintances and taking the chance of stumbling upon a stranger, on the same platform, who shares similar thoughts, ideas, standpoints and preferences, does sound cool. But since, all are going in dark, it doesn’t hurt to have at least a vague idea regarding what kind of people you might meet on anonymous messaging platforms.
The Extroverts
There’s a high probability of you possibly finding extroverted individuals on such applications. It would naturally make sense for extroverts to hop onto a site or application that allows for and promotes anonymous messaging. After all, meeting new people online, sharing your opinions and feelings, potentially becoming more than mere acquaintances doesn’t sound so bad. And extroverts are clearly, all for it. Anonymous texting is evidently the perfect platform for extroverts to jump on and make new friends. Can’t imagine many people who wouldn’t like that.

The Introverts
Contrary to outspoken individuals, you’d probably be surprised to know that anonymity in texting and communication serves introverts more than anybody else. We know and understand how difficult and serious it is, to deal with mental illness or even matters as simple as a sense of loneliness, solitude and isolation. It can be hard to share, to speak your heart out. To those who suffer from such issues, anonymous texting is liberating breath. An escape. Now, they can communicate without hesitation and can have the choice if meeting likeminded individuals online, without even having to disclose their names.
It’s more than just Texting
There’s a good chance of many users of said platforms and applications, joining the community for a specific purpose. They’re not there simply to make friends or even meet new people they can talk to. Sometimes, people would join apps which allow for public expression anonymously, for a multitude of reasons. Anonymous thought posting can be a means of raising voices against prejudice, communal divisiveness, debunking myths and having the voice of minorities heard.
Whatever be the case and whoever be the user, anonymous texting, in itself is a revolutionary step forward and can serve any purpose from making new friends to upholding a cause.?
