Types of Correlations

As discussed, early this morning there are numerous ( Not numerous) though only three as per my knowledge of Correlations!

Let me get to the exact thing I would like to talk about!

Correlation: Defines relationship between two different people or different variables or different datasets.

Positive Correlation: You talk to a person well and be good friends with them is a positive correlation.

Let's also look at the bookish definition of what is positive correlation , there are various ways of defining it. It is important to understand that a relationship that is moving in the same direction or same point. It is as one variable increases the other increases.

How do we even represent it?

It moves from a 0 to +1 this is the coefficient correlation that is important to move in a positive correlation.

Negative Correlations: There is also one relationship between two humans as we speak where one person is interested in the other person and takes a lot of interest in them. But the other person is least bothered or interested in listening to the second person.

Negative Correlations: This is probably the bookish definition when I look at it. Negative Correlation has also been called as Inverse Correlation and in this it also says that while there is a decrease in one variable and there is an increase in the other variable.

How do we represent a negative coefficient ?

A negative coefficient can be represented as -1. It looks like a near perfect line.

The last one that explains no relationship at all and termed as Zero Correlation.

As the name itself suggests , Zero relationship or no relationship between two different people or humans or when two people don't even talk to each other at all.

Let's say there is no correct indication of the variables ( for example) You can say that there chocolates in school. But I want to get my homework done ( No relationship) at all. it means there is no linear relationship at all.

How do we represent a zero correlation?

We represent it by 0.
