From industry experts to knowledge buffs, it seems like everybody can agree there are some predictions on the horizon. Yeah, maybe flying cars didn't quite pan out as we expected in our '80s future vision (that was our super-duper future prediction)- but this new feature is being applied across many disciplines and what comes of it will be something we have yet to experience! Fortunately or unfortunately...but excitingly too.?

Chat GPT has recently been released by OpenAI and is already creating some buzz. It is an AI-powered chatbot that can simulate human conversation- a software robot that can participate in the dialogue. It is trained to interact with conversational models to provide answers, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. It can answer follow-up questions and if necessary, admit its mistakes. An AI-powered chatbot is so human in its realism that you would think it is part of the conversation!??
It was recently released, on November 30th, and curious people can sign up and test it for free. It is still in the research/review phase, so they need our feedback.?
And as if this is not enough excitement already, there is also its sibling model 'InstructGPD' which can truly make your life easier by following instructions with precision and providing detailed answers. Instruct GPT is trained to follow instructions in a prompt and upon that to provide a detailed response.??

What was necessary to train this chatbot was a large amount of text and predictions and all that using the GPT-3.5 language technology- a large artificial intelligence model made by OpenAI.???

How Chat already has family related- the same methods are used on InstructGPT, but with slight differences in the data collection setup. They trained an initial model using supervised fine-tuning in which the participants were AI and human trainers. Human AI trainers provided conversations in which they played both sides: the users and AI assistants.?
Of course, trainers had access to a model: written suggestions to help them compose their responses. In order to collect data, they had conversations that AI trainers had with the chatbot. This was to create a reward model for reinforcement learning and collecting comparison data. They consisted of two or more model responses ranked by quality. Then they randomly selected a model-writing message, sampled several alternative completions and AI trainers ranked them. Using these reward models, we can fine-tune the model using Proximal Policy Optimization, the reinforcement learning algorithm. ?
