Chat GPT Professional – A Premium Subscription ??
OpenAI this week signaled it'll soon begin charging for ChatGPT, a viral AI-powered chatbot. In an announcement on the company's official Discord server, OpenAI said,
"It's starting to think about how to monetize ChatGPT."
CEO Sam Altman recently pointed out that ChatGPT costs OpenAI a few cents for every chat, making it impractical to keep the bot completely free. The AI tool would always be available, with no throttling and as many messages as necessary. The startup hasn't said when the pilot program might launch, but it asks participants for pricing feedback.
Despite controversy and several bans, ChatGPT has proven to be a publicity win for OpenAI, attracting significant media attention and spawning countless memes on social media. Some investors are implementing ChatGPT in their workflows. Ryan Reynolds enlisted ChatGPT to write an ad for Mint Mobile, the mobile carrier he part-owns. And Microsoft will reportedly incorporate the AI behind ChatGPT into its Office Suite and Bing. OpenAI is under pressure to turn a profit on products like ChatGPT ahead of a rumored $10 billion investment from Microsoft. Microsoft is looking to get a 49% stake in OpenAI, valuing the company at around $29 billion.

Case Study - Levi Strauss & Co. | By Txend ??
Levi Strauss & Co., the world's fortune 500 company and the world's most iconic jeans manufacturer, also known as the originator of blue jeans, has its offices and retail stores established in more than 80 countries worldwide with Revenues surging $4.5b. The company is known for solid values/ creative and intelligent solutions and partners only with businesses compliant with the latest information security practices.
Challenge
In late 2018, a new Governmental compliance was introduced in which all retail companies were mandated to report their sales in real-time to the Central Regulator's Portal. Levi Strauss & Co., to date, is using its 20-year-old legacy system at the retail stores to manage Point of Sale operations. This change in regulation resulted in a big problem for Levi Strauss & Co., as, at that time, there needed to be more support from the existing legacy POS service provider. On top of it, the regional IT team based in another country needed help to communicate/ establish a solution with the Regulator's IT dept. In 2019, the Global Levi Strauss & Co. IT team contacted Txend to provide a solution to this problem.
Solution
Txend developed a state-of-the-art platform, Retail Intelligence Service Component (RISC), to cater to the customer's problems. The solution was platform agnostic and independent of the existing POS system. It was robust enough to simultaneously cater to thousands of requests from a chain of stores across the country. While reporting transactions on a real-time basis, there were challenges in reconciling these between POS, RISC, and the Central Regulatory system. Txend provided a solution that seamlessly integrated all three keys and performed reconciliation without hassle. In addition, RISC provided interactive dashboards for reviewing and analyzing Sales activities across 100+ outlets in the country. LS & Co. went live with RISC in 2020 and had been running its operations smoothly.
