CATHARTIC AND THERAPEUTIC
I've always enjoyed traveling to new destinations and have found myself loving naturally beautiful destinations to be more intriguing than man-made beauties.
Call me old school but I find beauty in God's creations and our environment's wonders.
I'm sure you must've read lots of Travelling in the Pandemic Stories but this one's a bit different.
Why do you ask?
Well, It all started with a wish to travel. It was clear that the Covid-19 Virus wasn't going anywhere so I thought traveling to a new place could only go so wrong.
The planning of the trip started with apprehension and worry.?
However, once I got to know that my family and I were going to Udaipur, a place famous for its beautiful Palaces, I was extremely excited and happy.
In mid-December 2020, we visited Udaipur. Its beauty was surreal and blinding.
Udaipur has many lakes and is a dry but mountainous region situated in the Desert Indian State of Rajasthan.
I visited various places in Udaipur but I loved the City Palace more than any place.?
The city palace exuded royalty, divinity, and sacred beauty.
I fell in love with the City Palace and I remember clicking hundreds of pictures of the elegant and intricate architecture.
A calm city, Udaipur gave me a lot of time to think about my life.
I started to break down my life experiences and how I felt about them.
It was all, surprisingly, because of Udaipur's peaceful vibe that I was able to reevaluate my life choices and could ponder various life decisions.
Travelling, for me, is cathartic - It changes your whole outlook and gives you time to be with your real self.

2 年I feel the same way about travelling! It really rejuvenates me and I find I’m most myself when I travel and get out of my comfort zones when I have new experiences!
