The Two Witnesses
When the two witnesses will appear is uncertain. However, they will prophesy and preach the salvation of God, and about Jesus Christ, the sacrifice of his one and only Son, so that the people who are left behind from the Rapture may still turn to God and be saved.
They will appear some time soon after the Rapture happens. Yes, I said, appear, because they are going to be Moses and Elijah or Elijah and Enoch, or Moses and Enoch. That part on who these two witnesses are is not clear. Revelation 11: 4 talks about their divinity, which means, they are not human beings from this planet, Earth. They are heavenly visitors. Revelation 11:4 says: "These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth."
And if you say "Huh?" or laugh at this idea of the two witnesses being heavenly visitors, then you ought to read the Book of Revelation, Chapter 11, about them. They have power to hurt people who try to destroy them by breathing fire from their mouths. Revelation 11:5 says: "?And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed." These two men have supernatural powers that they will manifest on this earth for 3.5 years or 1260 days, the time that has been allotted to them to help people understand that God is for them and not against them. They will preach and prophesy to people so that according to John 3:16, no man may perish who believes in Jesus the Son of God and his sacrifice, because God so loves the world, that HE gave his only begotten son to save this world, and anyone who seeks refuge in the NAME of Jesus, as their personal Lord and Savior!
These divine visitors from heaven also have additional powers to torment men living on this earth. Revelation 11:6 says: "These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will." To reiterate, let me put them in points, that will be easier to read. This bears repetition, so don't mind me writing this once more:
When their 1,260 days that are allotted them are over, the beast (One World Government) will gain power over them and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the streets for 3 days.
Revelation 3:8 says: "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." Where this place is will be revealed at a later time, when it really happens.
The people of the earth will be so happy at that point. They will rejoice and send each other gifts. They will not bury their dead bodies. The bodies of the two witnesses will lie on the street for three days. After three days, their dead bodies will come back to life. The whole world will be terrorized on seeing this. But their time is up and God calls them up to heaven. They ascend and cause no more harm.
Revelation 11 & 12 says:
11?And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12?And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
So here they ascend up to heaven and the whole earth shall see them go up to heaven. It is what I was talking about earlier. They are able to travel without the help of a private jet, or car, or automobile of any kind. They are SUPERMEN.

But right after they are called up to heaven, a huge earthquake happens, and seven thousand men (to the exact number) will die because of it. (Verse:13) and the rest of the people will give glory to God in heaven.
