With this new feature you can take your message and have Facebook optimize it per person. Perhaps a description works better than a headline? Maybe your primary text should go to your description? With this new feature, Facebook can automatically adjust so the right copy is working for the right person. Don’t forget, people are viewing your ads differently. Not all content you put into your ads are shown on mobile devices compared to desktop so by utilizing this option, all your captions (headlines, primary text and descriptions) now have the potential to be seen on different devices.

You can also give the Facebook algorithm more options to utilize by including multiple options (up to 5) in each of the fields. The platform will then display the most effective versions and place them on your behalf for the most optimal results.?

Utilize The A/B Test Feature

With this feature, you don’t have to manually create multiple versions of ads and/or ad groups and see which performs the best and quickly. The features allow you to compare audiences, ad placement or creative assets against each other. For example, Facebook vs Instagram or single image vs carousel. Finally, you can tell Ads Manager how you want to determine the winner of the test. They give you the option to base the decision on a variety of metrics including cost per result or any one of Facebook’s standard events.

This is just a few of the various potential opportunities Facebook ad campaigns have under “it’s hood”. Don’t be afraid of them, as they can potentially tell you a lot and take the guessing way.

Have you used the different options one? I like to try different ads within an adset to test - but I haven't tried this yet. It seems like it would be harder to track/check what's working best.
