Two Truths and a Lie is a boundary violation for me

You know the game 'Two Truths and a Lie'? Yeah, I'm not a fan either. I mean, who wants to play a game where you gotta guess if your friends are lying to your face? But let's be real, I'm always transparent with you. I'm terrible at figuring out when someone's deceiving me. Between the autism and ADHD, I simply don't catch the signs.

Now, don't get me wrong, I get that it's a game and all in good fun. But here’s the thing - I don’t wanna be friends with someone who’s comfortable with tricking me. If you’re my friend, be straight with me, you know? And don’t even get me started on people who love to jump out of nowhere just to see you jump. How many shorts on social media are people doing exactly that and calling it entertainment. No thanks!

If I tell you, “Hey, I really don’t like being startled. It messes with my nervous system and can leave me on high alert for the rest of the day,” and you still do it? That’s a red flag, my friend. How am I supposed to feel safe hanging out with you if you don’t respect my boundaries?

Consider that a person with Epilepsy can experience a seizure when exposed to strobe lights. You wouldn't tell them, "You're no fun", "You need to lighten up" or "You're too sensitive", because to you strobe lights are no big deal. You have two different nervous systems that experience the world in fundamentally different ways.
