The Secret that Unlocks Real Progress.

Real progress is made when we get right to the heart of the matter. Most of us are more comfortable dancing around an issue, hoping the other person picks up on our subtle hints and nudges. But that’s not an effective recipe for success. Too many lives and organizations are consumed by the periphery—meetings, distractions, endless tasks—while the core issues go unaddressed. Why?

Because the closer we get to what truly matters, the more vulnerable we become. It requires us to ask the hard questions and confront uncomfortable truths. But if we develop the emotional intelligence to face what is vulnerable, we unlock what is most valuable. So today, ask yourself: Am I getting to the heart of what truly matters, or am I getting lost in the noise?
