There are Two Sides to Every Story

Good morning Divine Ones. Some thoughts for today.??
You know the expression ”there are two sides to every story and somewhere in the middle lies the truth”? I read an article written by a police officer and how he based upon this philosophy would always give everyone the benefit of the doubt until they were proven to be wrong. This is definitely in alignment with our legal system’s ideal of a person is innocent until proven guilty. I believe in this expression about the truth being in the middle wholeheartedly. And as I am considering its’ veracity, it occurs to me how it is so beautifully connected to Ho’oponopono.
Ihaleakala Hew Len shared the concept from the book “The User Illusion”, that for every 15 bits of data per second we are consciously aware of, there are 15 million plus bits of data per second that we have no conscious awareness of. What comes up for me is how we think we know the truth of a situation. In fact, we might trust our lives to that “truth”. All of our decisions, the actions that follow, all dependent upon what we believe with all our heart is the “truth”. But if we are only consciously aware of less than 1% of all that is connected to this supposed truth, is it wise to base all of our decisions on this way of thinking?
Finding the balance between what we think and what we trust and know from our hearts can serve us very well. Ho’oponopono can help us reach that place in the middle where the truth dwells. As we “clean” on the aspects of a decision that we are in need of making, this can pave a way to gaining more clarity on the truth of a situation. Perhaps we might even consider this type of Ho’oponopono cleaning statement in order to “get there“.
To whatever memories are in me that limit my clarity and understanding of the truth of this situation (or you can state with more specificity what the situation is), on any and all levels, that I am to atone for, I love you, I’m sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you.
Remembering that when we offer or initiate a Ho’oponopono cleaning, as Ihaleakala Hew Len would say, right situations, right people, right information, right decisions will show up for us. To me, it makes so much sense to use our intellect to gather the data that is available to us, and then move the situation and the data into our hearts and make the decision from that place of consciousness, more based upon how we feel rather than what we think we know.
