Or is it?
These three main points of vision, courage and perseverance are so important. But do we need them all?
For some folk, they will have the vision. They'll have this big hairy dream, this fabulous idea and be super excited! It's going to be their next big thing! Then ......... nothing.
Something stops them. They may not even be able to name it, but it'll be some kind of fear that holds them and stops them from moving forward. It could be fear of failure, because they're focusing on what's happened before. Or fear of rejection, it's just not something they're willing to expose themselves to. Or a myriad of different fears.
But the result is the same. They're stuck!
So this is where courage comes in. The folk that live with courage succeed, not because they don't have fears, but because the focus, drive and desire to achieve their dream is greater than their fear. It would just be too painful to not go for the big hairy goal.
So they choose to focus on what they want, rather than on what they don't want.
Which is where the perseverance comes in. That high energy at the start of a journey towards the goal is fantastic. However, life happens for everyone. There may be set backs, dips in energy, distractions, in fact any way that might test their resolve to getting to their final destination.
But the truly successful will make sure that they have an eye on their dream at all times, to keep taking the action that’s required and maintaining momentum towards their goal, even if it seems slow. They’re still moving towards it.
So, where are you? Have you got all three of these? Great if you have! If not, are you ready to acquire these three qualities that will get you to your great big dream?
It’s up to you.
