Two gold medals! Against all odds, Bibian Mentel did it ... TWICE!! ????

Setback after setback, recurrence after recurrence, full vertebral reconstruction and then a heavy crash - the day before her olympic race. Bibian Mentel must be the most resilient person I have ever met. If you don't know her story, Dutch television broadcasted a great documentary last week:

It has been a great pleasure for ttopstart to support Bibian on her road to Korea. The way she defies the odds and manages to inspire others (whether it is young kids through her Mentelity Foundation or industry leaders such as Richard Branson), strengthens us in our ambition to transform healthcare through our services. Although in no way comparable to what Bibian had to cope with, the many obstacles innovation has to overcome before impacting patients is also a road where the odds are heavily against. We see it as our mission to empower scientists and companies in defying their odds through critical thinking, smarter strategies and creative approaches.
