The Two Extremes: Your Ego vs Your Hero

I have always believed there are two extremes that every person on the planet has the opportunity to experience, but almost no one does…

ONE extreme is called Your Ego

SECOND extreme is called Your Hero

99.9999% of the world resides in the gray so they don’t gravitate towards either, but let’s define each for a moment...

EGO first…

From my perspective…

EGO is self-serving…

EGO is more focused on getting credit than giving credit…

EGO uses words like ME and I versus WE and US…

EGO must win before anyone else…

EGO only cares about your own outcome…

EGO yearns for awards, public praise, and recognition…

HERO time…

From my perspective…

HERO is in service of others…

HERO does not need credit and would prefer not to get it…

HERO only uses words like WE and US and TOGETHER…

HERO will only win if everyone wins first…

HERO cares about the outcome of others before their own…

HERO is passionate about giving other people praise and recognition…

Remember, most people sit in between both and never access their ego or their hero, but for those who have the courage to step into their greatness…

I would like to share WHY I personally only gravitate to HERO and why I will only partner with people who reside in HERO (not the gray and not the EGO)...

Let me explain why NOT the gray first…

GRAY to me represents someone who has not found their leadership voice…

GRAY to me represents someone who wants to be told what to do…

GRAY to me represents someone who is completely content with just enough…

GRAY to me represents someone who does not show up with presence and certainty…

When I am considering a partner in business for CILA LABS, gray gravitational pull is too weak for me to move forward with because it will require too much of me. GRAY people have not found their voice yet and/or they are not confident enough in their message so they don’t share it. 

YES, being in the gray is EASY for sure - but I am certain that EASY has never gotten someone what they desired out of life. 

So, zero judgement if GRAY makes you more comfortable, but please don’t complain if GRAY has held you back from your HAVE IT ALL LIFESTYLE.

Now, let’s focus on EGO and why I am personally repelled by EGO…

First and foremost, nothing significant has ever happened in the world because of one person.

Every breakthrough...

Every innovation...

Every milestone...

Every transformation…

Has been the result of TOGETHER.

When EGO energy shows up I am wildly turned off because all I see is someone who lacks self-worth and can only gain it by the acknowledgement of others and getting all the credit for their initiatives.

Don’t get me wrong - many of the most financially successful people have VERY strong EGO but many of these people eventually self-sabotage because they have all the wealth they need but almost no self-love. 

Their EGO leads to their DEMISE because the people in their lives don’t really want them to win. The people in their lives conspire for them to lose, and, eventually they are exposed and the empire comes crashing down.

And this has nothing to do with money, success, or business...although it does!

But it also has to do with intimate relationships where one person has a VERY strong EGO, or with parenting, religion, politics, etc.

EGO energy is a repellent and I run the other way, both personally and professionally, when I see it emerge because the story almost always ends the same when EGO is present…

CRASH!

Now let’s talk about HERO…

But before I go there…

I want you to know that EVERYONE has a HERO inside…

VERY few find it…

EVEN fewer access it…

ALMOST no one uses it…

I hope this article is a catalyst for you to step into the USE IT group so eventually this expands…

HERO energy is filled with..

• Self-awareness...
• Wild levels of decisiveness and confidence...
• Flame decision making
• Zone of genius collisions 
• Together mentality
• Impact for ALL

For me…

HERO energy is the only energy I play with, partner with, and befriend…

YES, I know tons of EGOS and even more GRAYS, and I will associate with them, but I won’t go deep because GRAYS are looking to be led and EGOS will crash.

HEROES are leaders…

HEROES build the foundation…

HEROES focus on the outcome of their efforts as a united front…

HEROES are the solution to every problem that exists today…

I mean EVERY problem…

From politics…

To social justice…

To health…

To economic…

To divorce…

To EVERYTHING!

Let your HERO be ILLUMINATED…
