Two decades of MIT corruption are standing in the way of Kamala Harris' victory in November.

Over the course of my 27-year career as a communications manager at MIT, I worked for some of the most extraordinary scientists and engineers that one could ever hope to know:

• 3 years with Nobel laureate Mario Molina
• 8 years with Institute Professor Penny Chisholm
• 12 years with Mujid Kazimi, director of the Center for Advanced Nuclear Energy Systems
• and 8 years as a volunteer photographer and web developer for the game-changing student group, the MIT Energy Club.

But all of their work, and my career with it, ended in failure:

• Despite millions in funding to address the crisis of "Air Pollution in Megacity," Mario lost his health and funding and in the end, after years of work, produced a single paper published outside the peer review process.
• Despite spending 4 years developing the MIT Environmental Initiative, Penny and 15 other senior MIT faculty said nothing at all when the MIT Corporation cancelled the initiative in April 2012.
• Despite brilliant engineering and a passionate commitment, MIT's extraordinary nuclear engineers are seeing their field die a drawn-out death.
• And Ernest Moniz simply sold the visionary work of the students of the MIT Energy Club, who combined venture capital with visionary renewable energy research, as an "All of the Above" hoax, taking hundreds and hundreds of millions from corrupt billionaires and the fossil fuel industry to stop the future dead.

I've spent the 6 years since leaving MIT researching a history that I lived through but didn't understand while it was happening: how the Koch brothers, gods on the board of the MIT Corporation, captured MIT and transformed the MIT Corporation into a criminal organization, using whatever means necessary.

On a level playing field, the extraordinary Kamala Harris would be en route to victory in 2024. The only possible threat to her victory is a lawsuit that she filed in 2016 as California's Attorney General, suing the Obama administration for the environmental destruction caused by the fracking revolution that they led.

In 2004 the Koch Brothers created two destructive organizations:

1. Americans for Prosperity, which led to Citizens United in 2010, both of which have an agenda that makes Project 2025 look like notes that J.D. Vance jotted down on a napkin.
2. The MIT Energy Initiative, the first of a half-dozen dark money operations that the Koch Brothers set up at MIT from 2004-2020.

On January 10, 2020, the MIT Corporation published a fraudulent report ostensibly investigating MIT's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein but in fact manipulating evidence to protect four of its operations:

1. The MIT-Russia Skolkovo Institute of Science & Technology, a state-of-the-art fracking research center that betrayed U.S. national security in order to develop the shale riches of the Bazhenov Formation in Siberia. The project was developed by former CIA director John Deutch in partnership with Schlumberger, Russian fossil fuel billionaires, and Russian weapon manufacturers, and administered by MIT President "Leo" Rafael Reif, both of whom has been paid $4.5 million by Schlumberger for their services.
2. The MIT Media Lab, raising millions with an empty box that promised to feed a starving world, with Epstein as an in-house honeytrap.
3. The Engine, a VC honey trap set up to mimic the MIT Energy Club and suck in Massachusetts leaders — billionaire-owner of the Boston Globe Linda Henry, former Attorney General, now Governor Maura Healy, etc.
4. Kendall Square for-profit real estate development, led by MIT's former Executive Vice President and Treasurer Israel Ruiz under the auspices of a new company that he founded and served as CEO, WoHo Systems.

In March 2022, I found a Timeline on the WoHo site that documented the project's development from 2011 to 2020, when they planned to launch the new company. The Timeline provided crucial information that I hadn't seen anywhere else. I reported this to the Boston FBI and met with an agent on May 31, 2022, explaining everything here on LinkedIn the day after the meeting.

In consequence, the WoHo site was radically altered. Ruiz, the CEO and co-founder, was entirely scrubbed from the company that he founded (even though, according to Massachusetts records, he continues to maintain ownership).

And all the rollover text that provide critical information about each date in the timeline, was also deleted.

But the most important date, the 2011 date, which is what prompted me to contact the FBI in the first place, was deleted entirely. Here it is:

This is the critical information we need to understand how the Koch Brothers captured MIT.

1. October 14, 2011. The MIT Corporation replaces Susan Hockfield's EVPT with their own, Israel Ruiz. ("Corporation elects Israel Ruiz executive VP and treasurer, MIT News).
2. October 26, 2011. Susan Hockfield signs $300 million with Russia to develop a fracking research center for Schlumberger, in partnership with Russian weapon manufacturers, which contains no clean energy research of any kind.
3. February 12, 2012. Susan Hockfield resigns after just 7 years in office, without any explanation whatsoever, apart from a vague mention of "a new set of ambitious goals" and:

to support [its] ambitious goals, MIT has begun the crucial work of planning for a significant new fundraising campaign. A campaign on this scale will require the full focus and sustained attention of the Institute’s president over many years. I have concluded that it would be best for the Institute to begin this next chapter with new leadership.

Susan Hockfield is handing MIT back to the same person who hired her, and she is getting out of Dodge.

From my very first days as MIT’s president, David Koch became a friend, collaborator, supporter, and enthusiast." — Susan Hockfield in 2019, commenting for David Koch's obituary.

4. April 2012. The MIT Corporation then appoints Schlumberger director, "Leo" Rafael Reif, to lie to the MIT community about Skolkovo and lead a multi-billion dollar Capital Campaign for a for-profit corporation in the oil&gas business, that is coordination by their on MIT ice President & Treasurer who is tearing down graduate house to build for-profit housing built by his own company, WoHo Systems.

In September 2019, the MIT Corporation hired one of Wall Street's most powerful law firms, Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, and the services of one of America's most powerful lawyers, Scott Barshay, to write a fraudulent report that hid the truth while protecting its interests.

For the past six years, while I've investigated this story, I've felt physically afraid of the MIT Corporation's partners — Schlumberger as much as Russian oligarchs and weapon manufacturers.

But I've also struggled to explain the corruption in a way that would result in action. And over the past few weeks a handful of events have come together to remove the final obstacles, the most important being an understanding that what the MIT Corporation, Paul Weiss, Schlumberger, et al, have perpetrated is a "conspiracy." That is the legal term, and I have every piece of evidence to sustain the charge.

So my goal now is to provide a report that key U.S. senators — Sheldon Whitehouse, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey — can use to hold hearings as soon as possible aimed to understand and expose, using their powers of subpoena, the 20-year scheme perpetrated by David and Charles Koch, and John Deutch and Ernest Moniz, to capture MIT and, through MIT, the White House, the Department of Energy, and U.S. energy policy, all to protect their interests and stop the transition from fossil fuels, no matter the cost or consequences.

This is the fight that Kamala Harris, with extraordinary instincts, courage, in partnership with the brilliant team she had built as California's Attorney, introduced with her 2016 fracking lawsuit against the Obama administration. Attorney General Harris was fight corruption and crime based at MIT, and now Vice President Harris can finish that fight and secure her election in November.
