Two Days in a new position - Wow, Medicaid is complex!

Two days into my new position with the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Medicaid Services I am discovering just how complex it is. Wisconsin has 28 different Medicaid programs that provide medical assistance, each targeted to a specific demographic or service. I'll be managing projects to make the service delivery more equitable, more people centered, more culturally competent, and easier to understand and navigate.
