Two crime writers "interrogate" each other
Svetlana Pironko
Novelist at Le Passeur Editeur. Former Publisher at Betimes Books.
For crime fiction lovers:
Fourteen years after the first U.S. newspaper interview with Ken Bruen, conducted by Craig McDonald, author of the Hector Lassiter series, upon the American debut of THE GUARDS, book 1 of the Jack Taylor series (somewhat of a classic now!), the two crime writers meet again to ‘interrogate’ one another about their long-running series.
This new interview coincides with two new releases:
– Head Games the Graphic Novel is Craig McDonald’s adaptation of his 2007 debut novel that was a finalist for Edgar? and Anthony awards, and one of 10 novels in his internationally acclaimed Hector Lassiter series about a crime writer famous for “living what he writes and writing what he lives”.
– The Ghosts of Galway is the 13th Jack Taylor novel by Ken Bruen. To date, nine novels about Bruen’s Irish ex-cop turned private detective have been adapted to screen starring Iain Glen of Game of Thrones fame.
