Two Championships. Next Stop: Three-Peat

Two Championships. Next Stop: Three-Peat

This pic is a moment in time—one of many I'm grateful for.

After five incredible years at Contentstack, I'm ready to step into something new.

Phew. There. I said it.

But transitions, like growth, aren't linear. They can be messy but necessary and full of lessons. That's the point: getting out of my comfort zone and into the unknown.

Over the past 5 years, I didn't just build and lead sales teams—I helped people grow. I helped Contentstack grow. I grew. I watched individuals across the organization discover strengths they didn't know they had. Together, we became something bigger than ourselves - something unstoppable.

The numbers? They were incredible. (15 of the 30 most notable logos? My teams helped make that happen.) But it was always about the people behind those numbers—our brilliant Sales Engineers, TSO, Product, Marketing, Product and Partner teams.

I'm damn proud of what we did together.

I learned more from Todd Rathje than any other sales leader I've worked with. Thank you, Todd.

I know what I'm good at and where I thrive. My job and my purpose are the same: to lead.?That starts with leading myself—setting the example I want to see—and hopefully inspiring others to do the same.

I also know that metrics aren't only necessary. Of course they show where we've been and where we are, but they're not the whole story. The metrics led to moments… and the moments of growth lead to metrics. They're symbiotic. Watching someone step into their potential or seeing a team transcend what they previously thought possible isn't only captured in a spreadsheet. That's not just management. That's authentic leadership.

Here's what I've learned:

  • Leadership isn't about control or power—it's about connection.
  • Success isn't just about numbers—it's about transformation, for the team and the people who make it happen.
  • Metrics should celebrate the team's success, not just a "what have you done for me today" tool.

I've been fortunate to experience this twice—once at commercetools and again at Contentstack . I have two titles under my belt. Now I want a three-peat.

I don't have all the answers; I don't need to. What I have is innate curiosity, a drive to learn, and the belief that the best ideas come from figuring things out together.

Here's what I'm looking for next:

  • A bold product that changes the game.
  • A team driven by big, audacious goals and ready to celebrate wins.
  • Leadership we'd all run through walls for.
  • A culture where the success of the business and personal growth are fundamental.

The chance to keep learning, growing, and sharing what I've learned.

The best business outcomes happen when big, hairy goals meet human potential. I want to join an organization that values both—one where transformation drives growth, where success includes closing deals and developing people, and where leadership means empowering others to exceed what they thought was possible.

Let's talk. I'm ready to run this back.

What a journey over those 5 years. There are very few managers like you who truly and deeply support their teams. Whatever your next adventure, I am sure you'll be successful, and the teams working with you will be fortunate. #Inspiration, #passion #leadership, #success. Thanks again for all you've done!
