Twistlock Announces $10M Series A Round

Today Twistlock achieved a significant milestone - we closed a $10 million Series A round, led by TenEleven Ventures. New investor Rally Ventures and existing backer YL Ventures also joined the round. 

Since the inception of our company, Twistlock has always operated under the mantra that everyday we would do something meaningful and useful to help our customers. We have never once wavered from that mission. Our beta product was launched in May 2015 and we quickly garnered ~15 beta customers. Some of these customers had complex and demanding use cases. For a few months, our R&D team worked tirelessly with these customers to tune our technology and our offerings. 

The hard work paid off; some of the decisions we made during the beta testing time, such as being in both development time and production time to deliver a true dev-to-scale experience and developing around an extensive set of APIs, really made a difference for us in the market.

By the time we took our solution to general availability in November 2015, we already had substantial commercial interests from both beta customers and new prospects. Our responsiveness to customer requests, our quick pace for product enhancements, and the maturity of our technology consistently won over even the most skeptical of customers. 

The first half of 2016 really showed us how much the market needed a solution like Twistlock's. We blew through our revenue goal for the year almost within the first quarter. Most recently we have been onboarding new customer deployments every single week. 

We are super excited that TenEleven Ventures and Rally Ventures believed in our vision and joined our journey. This infusion of new funds will allow us to continue to execute and scale up our goal of always delivering the best security function for the brave new DevOps world.
