Having tried many options in vain to help my son deal with his addictions, we contacted Twin Rivers, on the basis that being so far away from home it would make it impossible for him to abscond, as had been the pattern with previous residential treatment centres in England and Spain.

Following a bumpy first couple of weeks and a detoxification and assessment period, my son fell into the pattern of life there. David and his team helped him find a new comfort in his life and put him firmly of the road to recovery.

To David’s great relief, my son was collected by the same sober transporter who stayed with him around the clock for the first ten days back in his home environment and (after a misguided and near-disastrous change of personnel) eventually became his sober coach.
