Tweaking Your Form To Maximize Performance

I currently play pickleball 5-6 times a week.
I also have a coach that I work with once a week.
In my coaching session last week, we made small adjustments to how I hold my grip, the placement of the ball when hitting a drop shot and the amount and type of spin I place on my forehand and backhand shots, depending on the situation.
As I continue to play, every shot, every game, every coaching session, is an opportunity to define what worked, what didn't, what I will change and what help I need.
The same happens in our lives, our relationships and our businesses.
If you're not articulating those 4 things and then implementing the required change, you'll end up 'tweaking' in the wrong direction, which over the course of time and executing in that way over and over, leads to bad form.
That could be bad form in your sales calls, calendar management, the way you develop your culture, your nutrition, sleep habits and so on.
Tweak your form on a regular basis.
Work on getting 1%, 2%, 5% better, over and over again.
Ask what worked, what didn't, what will I change and what support do I need?
Then make sure you have specific action items you will execute on immediately, to ensure your tweaks take you in the direction of your ultimate objectives.
