'Twas the Night Before (a Fetters) Christmas
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the state,
Builders are busy, the economy’s great!
Steel, wood, brick, and wire, all installed with care,
Knowing plumbing, and heat, and the trades are all there!
Our customers are nestled and snug in their beds,
While visions of expansions, and growth fill their heads;
Super’s in hardhats, foremen, and trades,
Are building success, it’s been their crusade.
Songs full of comfort, and peace, fill the air,
Knowing that Corporate Construction is there;
The budgets are safe, the schedule’s intact,
And safety complete, yes with Carl that’s a fact.
When out on the jobsite, there arose such a clatter,
Our President jumped to see what was the matter.
Away from his work, leader Eric did fly,
Hopped in his truck, like a flash in the sky.
The sunshine on the top of the new poured concrete,
A troweled masterpiece, a masterful treat!
The jobsite was clean, and safety job one,
VP Nick was now smilin’; the slab-work was done.
The CFO Craig, said with numbers in tow,
“The budget is met, of this fact I do know!”
Our PM’s all sang, with unified breath,
That’s Austin, and James, and Doug, and Beth.
The estimating team, grabbed the plans and the specs,
And looked at the list, they twice gave it checks.
There’s George, and there’s Joe, Kyle and Joe once again,
Getting facts, and the truth, taking off with a pen.
The masonry team, with mortar and brick,
Constructed the scene, so lively and quick.
With Terry, and Clint, both brickies by trade,
Asked Denise - too a mason, to come to their aid.
The time’s almost here! Paige declared with a yell,
Both Amber and Samantha, each joined in the swell;
The big guy is coming, on this Christmas eve,
A jolly old elf, (and we’re not saying Steve!)
“Now Tony, now Andy, now David and Lynn!
With Brian, and David, and Chris, and Kevin!
Yes Jared, and Khris, and with Larry and Kyle!
And with Mitch, Tim, and Trent, and with Bob (once awhile).
They all spoke some words, and went straight to their work,
And built up a building, with a wreath as a perk!
And Tim, slyly grinning, in his truck gave a whistle,
Promised the budget, and fast, like a missile.
Together they joined, the whole team, girl and boy,
In a loud and clear voice, full of peace, and of joy,
And as one, they exclaimed, as they worked through the night,
“MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!”
