I wanted to share this post as I have been dedicated to the launch and promotion of  TVPlayer since I left MTV Networks a few years ago.

It has been an exciting adventure working for a start up at the formative stages of a 'disruptive' OTT service, working across the concept, design, development as well as  the Marketing & PR strategy and plan.

Tuesday 6th October (London): TVPlayer, the online television platform, has launched TVPlayer Plus, a low cost subscription pack featuring 25 premium channels including Discovery Channel, TLC British Eurosport, British Eurosport 2, National Geographic Channel, HISTORY?, Lifetime?, Cartoon Network and Gold. At just ￡4.99 per month, with no setup fee and no contract, TVPlayer Plus is one of the cheapest ways to watch these great channels in the U.K.

The new TVPlayer Plus service is perfect for households looking to lower their monthly TV bills or top up their Freeview viewing with extra channels. With 25 entertainment, factual and kids channels, there is something for everyone including original factual programing such as Pawn Stars, Mountain Men and Storage Wars, new dramas such as Gangland Undercover on HISTORY? and British classics Hustle and Spooks and UK premieres such as Satisfaction on Sony Entertainment Television. Some of the best of real life can be found on TLC with Tina Malone: My New Body, Say Yes to the Dress, Whitney: Fat Girl Dancing and Cake Boss. Whilst on Lifetime? Dance Moms, Little Women: LA and UK premieres of the Real Housewives franchise are all available.

An internet connection is required but unlike some Pay-TV services, there is no need to have a phone line rental, giving consumer’s significant annual savings.
