TV company "First HDTV" together with Roscosmos and Tricolor launches a new thematic channel

The state corporation for space activities “Roscosmos” and the television company “First HDTV” are launching the television channel “First Space”. The strategic partner of the project is the multi-platform operator Tricolor.

The air content of “First Space” will include news from the Russian space industry, popular science programs about the structure of the Universe, thematic feature films and documentaries of Russian and foreign production. The launch of the new thematic channel took place on March 4, 2021. It is available to viewers of satellite and online TV.

The general information partner of the project is the “Retro FM” radio station. Meetings with legendary cosmonauts and exclusive news from the “First Space” – only on the air of Retro FM.

The “First Space” will combine a scientific approach and narrative accessibility, and the main difference from the TV channels of this subject will be live broadcasts of launches, broadcasts from space and content with the participation of experts and cosmonauts from Roscosmos.
