I don't really need to go into the details about why it is important to have a mobile friendly site as it is obvious. However, your website is user experience is designed for 2 important things in mind:
- Humans
- Technology, especially search engines
Last year Google had what was known as 'Mobilegeddon', which basically meant that if your site isn't mobile friendly, they will punish you in the search engines. Fair enough!!!
A year later, I still see a lot of sites that are not mobile friendly, according to Google. So, this tutorial focuses on the first part of making your website mobile friendly, which is....'Is my site mobile friendly?"
Few things:
- Skill level: Beginners
- Time to implement: Less than 2 minutes
As usual, I have broken it down in a slideshare presentation (More tutorials can be found on my slideshare account).
I hope everyone reached the 'Awesome. This site is mobile-friendly' page but if you didn't then another thing to add to your to-do list is make your site friendly for mobiles.
:-)
Nice work, Thanks for sharing!
