Tutorial: How To Use Wikipedia To Generate Content Ideas

Coming up with new ideas for content can be tough, especially if you are in a competitive industry. Below I will show you a step by step tutorial about one tactic I have used for a while now and it involves a website that is underutilised in my opinion....Wikipedia.
Used correctly, Wikipedia is the gift that keeps giving when it comes to getting ideas for good content. Good content is very subjective so to quickly define 'good content' in this example, I mean content where there is some demand.
Here is a tip/trick/tutorial/tactic I have often done in my workshops where you can use Wikipedia citations for relevant, in demand content.
Few things:
- Skill level: Intermediate / Advanced
- Time to implement: Less than 10 minutes
As usual, I have broken it down in a slideshare presentation (More tutorials can be found on my slideshare account).
So there you have it. For the more advanced social media / digital readers, you can probably see other things you could do with this ;-)....I will do further tutorials around this in future posts.
Good luck and hope you get some ideas
