TUSCO Invites Consultants For Floating Solar in Uttar Pradesh,CERC Approves Peak & Off-Peak Power Tariff And Much More..

The Tusco, Inc. has invited bids to appoint consultants for #floatingsolar projects on various dam in #uttarpradesh.The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) , (MNRE), had allocated the state of Uttar Pradesh to THDCIL for development of Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks (UMREPPs). The UMREPPs are to be developed through a SPV in the form of a JV Company between THDCIL and a Government organization of UP State.

To encourage industrial units to build #solarpower plants, Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) removed the capital cost of #solarenergy plants from the total cost of units’ capital investments in order to calculate consent fee under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act of 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act of 1981.The owners had to apply to RSPCB to establish a new industrial unit. They also had to pay a consent fee based on the total capital investment for the units and the cost of the #solarpowerplant.

Adani Green Energy Ltd. , Torrent Power , Actis and 壳牌 are just a few of the six energy companies that are looking to buy Virescent Renewable Energy Trust from KKR India, ET reported.This InvIT is an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT), owned by KKR India with an enterprise value $550million (Rs 4.500 crore). The trust owns 16 #solarpower projects across 7 states. This amounts to 538 MW. This deal could become the first Indian InvIT sale if it is successful. The contenders submitted non-binding offers to KKR and JP Morgan recently. They will continue negotiations with a smaller number of candidates for the next round and due diligence, according to the sources.

Tariff adoption submitted by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for 1,200 MW (1.2 GW) of the interstate transmission system (ISTS) linked #renewableenergy projects (ISTS VII) with guaranteed peak power supply, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commissionê(Cerc) has approved the power tariff. The peak power tariff of Rs. 6.12/kWh for the 900 MW granted to Greenko Energies and Rs. 6.85/kWh for the 300 MW awarded to ReNew Solar Power was authorized, along with the off-peak tariff of Rs. 2.88/kWh for both the projects.
