Turning up the heat: Get your monthly blast of indoor mapping updates ??
Welcome to our February edition, where you can catch up with us in about a minute! As the mountain of snow outside our office is any indication, we’re keeping cozy by the fireplace. Well, not really -- we're actually busy working on and developing the latest in indoor mapping, gearing up for more product and feature launches, and meeting partners at events.
For this update, we’ve got some hot indoor mapping updates and trends! We’re focusing on the latest enhancements to our tooling and enterprise solutions, with a few surprises mixed in. Let’s get started!
Stadium enhancements for the new season ???
Spring training is starting! Our latest indoor mapping enhancements for stadiums make game day experiences even better. Let fans navigate stadiums and arenas like a pro. Stadiums can designate seating section colors for improved visual clarity, identify entrances and exits with newly styled gate markers, deep link to any preferred seating section for easy access, and much more. Enhancements are now live and available to existing customers.
Making maps for so much more ?
We’ve made indoor mapping easy. But how can you make the most out of your maps and data? From safety maps to 3D modeling, learn how to make the best use of data formats exported from Mappedin.
In another recent blog, we cover best practices and steps to create a map. From map creation to publishing and sharing, these practical tips on using indoor mapping will transform visitor experiences in offices, shopping malls, airports, events, and other spaces.

Multifloor navigation in full 3D? ??
Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re cooking up in our lab: A complete building with multifloor visualization from an elevated perspective. Built with an SDK update coming soon, we’re working on making multi-level buildings even easier to view and navigate. Stay tuned for more!
Also, see more great examples of how our SDK can build custom mapping experiences in our Developer Portal Showcase.
Keep maps confidential ??
Did you know you can make maps that can only be accessed by your organization or team? We recently released the Private Maps feature, available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
Restrict access and control who can view your maps, add authentication of your choice using a login system, SSO, or VPN, and easily scale and maintain private maps in your organization.
