MY STORY #turningpoint
Imagine living your entire life unable to breathe fully, experiencing small doses of anxiety every day that only grow stronger over time. This was the reality for me, and I was part of a culture where men kept their deepest fears hidden deep inside. My secrets were like a Swiss vault, kept locked away.
Watched a podcast by Shia and Jon Bernthal that made me cry as understood how hard it was to live this way.?
Fortunately, I had found a wife, Zlata? Anja Bajdak , who was like gold to me and my friend in breaking down my walls.?
Have you ever though to go to physiotherapist??
My answer was yes, but never went to see it. My thoughts today, you don’t go there, you run there, “majke mi”.?
Let me tell you a story about Arty, a man living in Italy in the twenties. Arty had some interesting experiences that earned him the nickname "No Arty, No Party." He discovered the power to move people and became addicted to that feeling. He started exporting that feeling from parties to volleyball, but eventually, he began acting instead of living his life.?
He lost himself completely and even lost his identity as a professional volleyball player.
One day I heard an interesting podcast from Urban Urbanc?and Aleksander that spoke about having the courage to be authentic, and I totally agreed with it.?
Thanks to my wife, we had a three-day experience with therapy that changed my life. I told her secrets that no one had ever known before, and I realized that speaking about them made me feel free. I also understood that people don't care as much as he thought they would, and life goes on.
My journey to self-discovery was just beginning.? Marko Rant ?called me one night and asked if I believed in him, and AI answered with an absolute yes. He never told me why Marko asked that question until we went for a run around Lake Bled five years later, we stopped in the middle of the run and decided to swim in the cold water. It was a small step but had a big influence on my life.

If therapy was the revelation, cold water was the tool. It saving life. I started practicing it every day, and the #coldisnesgold era became a big part of my life. Wim Hof can explain it much better than I can.?
Monster was created and destroyed at the same time. I am big lover of art and history and first time understand what limbo means. You are not dead, but neither a live. You won't believe me but I don’t remember a year from 2014-2015, happy to have a least photos to remember, but I was hiding a lot of me.
I realized that the fight never stops, but the narrative about it changes. I still feels cold every time he steps into the water and still fears heights, but I knows how to handle it better.?
Fear about earning money was his next big one, but that's a story for another time.
My evolution was not an easy one, and I sometimes sees the struggle in my friends from the past who don't know me as i am now. They only know Arty, and i am is starting to forget that person.?
Lessons learned?
- Discuss your concerns and fears more.?
- A physiotherapist makes the process quicker and simpler.?
- Without good people, growth is difficult.?
- On the long run, acting and not being authentic hurts a lot.?
- #coldisnewgold Little things can have a big impact.?
- Overcoming fear is a lifelong endeavor. You can find calm in how you manage it.
I am writing this story to let it go, to provide self-therapy, and to create something that my children can read when they need it. For finish for all people from the past understanding my evolution and i still love you all, you were big part of creation of a new form, but?
Arrivederci Arty.
