Turning the Page

A new year, a new chapter. ??

There’s something about January that feels so full of possibility. The fresh calendar, the blank slate—it’s a reminder that every ending makes room for a new beginning.

And on that note, I have some bittersweet news to share: this will be the final edition of Exit Interview.

For 160 editions, this newsletter has been a privilege—an opportunity to share thoughts on leadership, culture, innovation, and everything in between. It’s sparked countless conversations, pushed me to think deeper, and, I hope, offered value to all of you.

Over the years, Exit Interview has grown into something truly special:

  • Subscribers: What started as a small group has grown into a community of over 4,000 readers across industries. Your curiosity and engagement have made this newsletter what it is today.
  • Conversations on LinkedIn: This platform became more than just a place to post—it became a space where ideas were shared, debated, and expanded. It’s been incredible to see this collective dialogue spark change in ways big and small.
  • Topics that resonated: Leadership and AI consistently sparked the most interest, with some posts reaching tens of thousands of impressions. But it was never just about the numbers—it was about the meaningful conversations these topics encouraged and how they shaped our perspectives.

And within the newsletter itself, we explored the topics that matter most:

  • Employees: Mentioned over 500 times—because people are at the heart of everything we do. It’s a reminder that no matter the tools or strategies, it’s the human element that drives success.
  • Remote work: Addressed 140+ times, reflecting its evolution since the early days of COVID. What started as a necessity became a game-changer, reshaping how we think about flexibility and connection.
  • Mental health: Brought up more than 130 times, as we collectively learned how vital it is to foster well-being—not just as a buzzword, but as a core part of a thriving workplace.
  • AI: With 276 mentions, it’s been incredible to watch this technology evolve in real-time. From uncertainty to innovation, AI’s transformation has been a lesson in adapting and seizing new opportunities.

Each of these stats is a reflection of the journey we’ve taken together. A shared exploration of what it means to build futures rooted in purpose, connection, and growth.

So, what’s next?

While Exit Interview is wrapping up, these conversations aren’t ending. I’ll continue sharing my thoughts, insights, and reflections on my LinkedIn profile. If you’ve enjoyed this newsletter, I’d love for you to follow me there and keep the dialogue going.

Thank you.

For reading, for engaging, and for making this space what it was. Together, we’ve created something I’m incredibly proud of.

As we move into this next chapter, let’s keep challenging ourselves to think bigger, lead better, and create workplaces where we all thrive.

Here’s to new beginnings,

Patrick
